What happens if you are not present for your claimed shift?

If you are not present for your claimed shift, the client has the option to give you a no-show with or without a penalty.

📍No-show without penalty | If you have made contact properly, have done your best to arrange a replacement and have kept the client well informed, the client can indicate that he is satisfied with the coordination of your absence. In that case, the job will be archived and your attendance rate will not be affected.

📍No-show with sanction | If you do not show up and the client is not satisfied with the handling, the client will report a 'no-show with sanction'. This results in a deposit payment of 100 euros. If you have worked 10 shifts without a no-show after this, the 100 euros will be refunded to your account. Will you receive another no show within these 10 shifts? Then your account will be deactivated for 6 months. In the event of a no show without a valid reason, your attendance percentage will be affected.

If this happens, you will receive an email about it. This email explains what the sanction entails and gives you the option to pay the deposit via the attached payment link. You get two options:

  1. You choose to pay the deposit within 14 days via the payment link. Smart! This way you can return to the platform and get started again through us. If you work 10 shifts without a no-show, you will get your €100 back. In short: win-win!
  2. You choose not to pay the deposit. You will now be deactivated for six months. This means that you can no longer work via our platform during this period. If you have not used the payment link after the first 14 days, but you still want to pay the fine, you can contact our support department.

PLEASE NOTE You will be contacted after your no-show to check whether you will pay. If you do not do this (on time), all shifts you still have will be cancelled.

No-shows are visible on your account and determine your attendance percentage. It is therefore important to ensure that you get as few no-shows as possible (preferably none at all).
